Brightside
Brightside’s mission is to provide affordable homes to those that otherwise struggle with the demands of market housing, and we envision building toward a future where people of all income levels have a home within a vibrant and healthy community. Seniors, families, and people with disabilities are some of the most significantly impacted by the housing affordability crisis facing renters in Metro Vancouver. The ‘Brightside touch’ is exemplified by our singular focus on the welfare of all our residents and ensuring we are able to go above and beyond to meet the needs of current and future residents in the long-term.
In addition to providing affordable homes for those who need it most, Brightside places important focus on community development that fosters strong social connections and resilience among its residents.

Building Resilient Neighbourhoods
Building Resilient Neighbourhoods (BRN) is a nonprofit organization based in British Columbia, Canada. We build community resilience by engaging cross-sectoral partnerships, to help strengthen social connections and collaborative action among neighbours.
Since 2012, BRN has been developing and testing different on-the-ground programs to help build neighbour connections and community resilience. Our flagship “Neighbour-to-Neighbour” programs—delivered by BRN and our network of partners—bring neighbours together to strengthen social connections, foster mutual support, and become better prepared for and resilient to different kinds of emergencies and chronic stresses.

Concert Properties
Putting people first is at the heart of the Concert Properties story. In 1989, Concert Properties was founded on three principles that still stand the test of time.
The first is to deliver attractive, long-term returns for our owners; the second is to create jobs and use skilled construction union labour; and the third is to give back to the communities where we work.
The initial mandate was to create assured rental housing. We’ve since grown and diversified, and the Company has become a real estate corporation owned by 49 union and management pension plans and institutional investors that represent over 200,000 Canadians. Today we develop, own and manage rental apartments; develop condominium homes; and develop, acquire and manage industrial and office properties.
