Liam is the Communications & Partnerships Manager for Brightside Community Homes Foundation. Steward of the Brightside narrative, Liam is the organization’s storyteller in chief and keeper of “the right purple” (hex code #4B306A for those who are wondering).
Whether conveying stories of positive change, writing strategic communications, or coordinating support for new affordable homes, brokering Brightside’s connections and partnerships within the affordable housing sector and community is core to Liam’s role. Having watched all of Netflix, he now enjoys fidget toys and long public hearings on municipal rezoning policy in his spare time.

This grant will support work from March 1st 2021 through to June 30th 2022 with four of our five practice partners. Together we’ll be exploring social sustainability innovations for affordable multi-unit rental housing. In particular, we’ll be highlighting the role that landlords, property managers and policy-makers can play in the process of building community, social connectedness and resilience in multi-unit housing contexts.
