Hey Neighbour joined hundreds of other delegates at Housing Central in November, to chat with folks about the Building Social Connections toolkit co-developed with partners at Happy Cities. Michelle Hoar (Hey Neighbour Collective) and Madeleine Hebert (Happy Cities) dug into the toolkit during their session, discussing the many ways policy and design recommendations can be used to enhance social connection, livability, age-friendliness, and resilience in multi-unit housing.
