Peter Marriott
Social Planner, City of Vancouver Health City Strategy
Peter Marriott is a Social Planner at the City of Vancouver, responsible for coordinating the department’s research and data work and informing policy around the social determinants of health.
Peter’s work includes developing tracking a wide range of population-level health, social and economic indicators; developing community profiles and other data engagement tools; and managing the monitoring and reporting framework for the Healthy City Strategy, Vancouver’s social sustainability plan.
Peter has a Master of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Urban Studies degree, both from Simon Fraser University. Peter was born and raised in Edmonton (traditional territory of Treaty 6 First Nations and the Métis Nation of Alberta), and moved to Vancouver (on the unceded homelands of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh Nations) in 2009.
