Olivia Tomlinson

Olivia Tomlinson is a research assistant with Hey Neighbour, performing data analysis on 2023 resident survey data she helped collect during her Bachelor of Science degree program at Simon Fraser University. In general, her work interests centre around public health and healthy cities, and she is passionate about having conversations with folks about what health means for them.

She completed her BSc in Health Sciences in 2023, focusing on population and quantitative health sciences, and also minored in International Studies, where she focused on economic and development issues.

Her passions are diverse: Olivia is interested in food justice and wonders how to democratize knowledge about the processes of getting healthy food on our tables. She seeks to bridge political and class divides in conversations surrounding health and envisions a future where everyone’s knowledge and experiences are heard.

Olivia loves fibre crafts (crochet, sewing) and getting outside to hike, bike, swim, and ski. She is also an avid traveller.
