Sara Emami
Sara is a research assistant with the SFU Research Team for Hey Neighbour. Her interests pivot around finding creative ways of fostering positive change through communities and the built environment.
She is working towards her master’s degree in Urban Studies at SFU and also holds Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science degrees in urban planning and design. Her research is related to using local network apps to empower citizens and provide equal opportunities for participation, engagement, and well-being of communities.
She enjoys travelling and walking around different cities. She loves to paint and create ceramic pieces.
